With a fast-paced career in education as a teacher and trainer, balancing demanding priorities, and raising a family, I was a busy mom! My world revolved around my children and my career, with absolutely no time to spare.

Up until my late 20s, my body seemed to handle it. And I looked and felt great. But as I inched towards my 40s the ‘usual’ cold, flu, and asthma attacks became more and more frequent. I was on heavy medication and felt weak. At the age of 37, I was diagnosed with endometriosis and osteoporosis, and parts of my small and large intestines were removed.

I think that was the very first time when I really looked into my situation. There were lots of things that the doctors hadn't told me.

I took a deep dive into health, wellness and positivity. I found my calling with nutrition and functional medicine. And I developed a practice grounded in the fundamentals.

The more I practice, the more I realise how enriching and empowering these concepts are for women, and through them, their entire families...
